A message from THE owners
To our dearset barre family,
This place and community is so special and important to us, as we know it is to all of you. It's been humbling to see how we all have come together over the past week to increase our safety measures and sanitation of the studio. Even with all of this in place, unfortunately there is no way to guarantee that you will be 100% safe when you're among others.
Medical experts and our leaders have made it clear that the best way to do our part and help stop the spread of COVID-19 is social distancing and self-quarantine. What we do over the next week or two will make a big difference on how it spreads in our community and effects our hospitals.
After much consideration and the recent address by our governor, we knew we had to follow the best medical guidance and protect the people that mean the most to us, our clients and instructors. This decision was not taken lightly and as a small business, it saddens us to our core to have to close our doors. We believe it is our responsibility as leaders in this community to do our part to fight the outbreak and this is the best way we can. So, with a heavy heart, we are closing beginning at 12pm on Monday, March 16th through Sunday, March 22nd (Monday morning classes will still be held in a limited capacity). As this situation continues to unfold, we will asses any further cancellations.
We know how important it is for us all to stay grounded as well as ensure that we stay healthy and fit during this challenging time. So, we worked really hard and fast over the past few days to bring you The Barre Online. The Barre Online is library of classes that you can do from the comfort of your own home, with no equipment.
Classes are available right now and we'll be diligently working to add fresh content daily throughout these extraordinary times. All clients with current memberships have been sent an email with how to access these videos. For clients who would like to access these videos with drop in classes or any other specific situations, please reach out to us via email. We know it's going to be a different experience and there will probably be a few hiccups along the way, please bear with us!
We have ideas for some incentives in the works and hope to have an updates soon...including how to get credit for all your at home classes! Please stay tuned.
This outpouring of support from our community has truly touched us and we are so grateful to you all sticking by our sides during this unprecedented time. We love and appreciate you all so and even if we're not in the same place, the bonds we have built will remain. We can't wait for things to get back to normal and see all of you again in our special place!
